Pan Pata is a half-sleeve, round-neck betel leaf appliqué blouse. The body is kept plain, and a large green pan pata, the betel leaf of Bengali rituals, is appliquéd on the outer side of each sleeve with its veins stitched in. It is darted for a close fit and opens at the front.
