Tilattama began at the workbench, not the warehouse. Founded by Kartik Chatterjee in Chandannagar, Tilottama Garments has always made its own clothes — sarees, blouses, kurtis and one-pieces cut, stitched and finished by our own hands, in our own studio.
Because we are the manufacturer, there is no middleman between you and the person who made your garment. That shows up in the details: fabrics we chose ourselves, colour-true photos we shot ourselves on real people, and prices that are simply the honest cost of good work.
We blend traditional Bengal craftsmanship — jamdani, kalamkari, khadi — with silhouettes women actually reach for. The aim is quiet confidence: pieces you'll wear on a weekday and be complimented on at a wedding.
Every piece earns its place
Nothing goes on this website straight off the sewing table. Each garment passes our in-house inspection — fabric, stitching, finish — before it's photographed, priced and listed. If it wouldn't pass for our own family, it doesn't ship to yours.
What we stand by
Made, not sourced
We're a manufacturer, not a reseller. Your piece is cut and stitched in our own workshop, so quality is in our hands from thread to hem.
Honest pricing
The price you see is the price you pay — GST included, Cash on Delivery available, and no inflated MRP theatre before a "discount".
